A dropped deck sitting 850–1,000 mm above the road, which is what lets a tall machine pass under bridges and power lines that would stop a flatbed. Below roughly 60 tonnes, hydraulic ramps are the practical choice; above it, a detachable gooseneck lets the machine drive on at ground level instead of climbing.
